The vision of this church is to break poverty mindsets, to remove religious barriers, and to destroy the walls of racism that divide us and keep us bound. Everything we do here at RFC expresses our uncompromising passion to help you break free of your past circumstances and to provide you with the tools necessary to live a productive, overcoming life in Christ.

In addition, all of our ministries address very specific needs of our community and the people that lead them are passionate to help others and see their lives transformed.

The ministries of RFC are designed to accomplish the vision in three main areas:

1) To provide an outlet and a place of safety and refuge for those with talents to share and for all your needs to be met.
2) To offer tools for sound, practical, and spiritual application of the Word of God to empower and ignite you for change.
3) To prepare a launching pad for your life and energize you to be a Kingdom man or woman that charges the atmosphere around you.

Spiritual Covering:
Pastor James & Nicole are ordained by Apostle Ron Carpenter Jr. through Redemption Ministerial Fellowship International. Redemption Faith Center is also covered as a church body by RMFI.

This ministry has also been Covenant Faith Partners with Kenneth Copeland Ministries since it’s inception in 2002.

We are proud to be covered by and in partnership with both of these organizations.

Ministry:
There are a great number of ministries operating within RFC and we encourage everyone to find their place. There are no insignificant jobs in God’s Kingdom and there are no insignificant people at RFC! Everyone is a vital member of this team and a key to RFC reaching it’s greatest potential. Our goal is to allow you to find your passion, empower you to release your gift and celebrate your success! For we believe that it in your success that God receives the greatest glory… “Herein is my Father Glorified, that you Produce much Fruit!”

History:
Pastor James & Nicole had a desire to see a Move of God in Rutherford County and thus they started a home fellowship in March of 2002. By June the fellowship had grown to an overwhelming 8 people and Foundations Fellowship was born in the Forest City Club House. They eventually moved into an old auto parts store where the ministry struggled to find it’s voice. After several years and modest growth the ministry moved to it’s current location on Hwy 74A. Now located in an old Diesel the ministry continued to experience difficult times as people came and went as is common in church plants. However, a core group stayed faithful and eventually the seeds began to come up!

Current:
As people from all walks of life have joined in pursuit of the Vision RFC has become an Experience like few others in Rutherford County. The excitement and warmth of the people is literally contagious and has been one of the major factors in the significant growth of the church. Membership or Partnership as we like to call it has Exploded! RFC passed the hundred partner mark and there is no sign of it slowing down anytime soon.

Atmosphere:
The experience from the parking lot to the sanctuary is uplifting. People are buzzing with expectation and everyone is genuinely happy to be at church! It is a very casual, inviting and energetic environment where everybody may not know you’re name at first but they will make it a point to get to know you.

Dress:
As one church website put it: “Clothes” What kind is really up to you. There are those that come in Ties and those that come in Tee’s. We have ladies in their Sunday dresses and others in their slacks and jeans. The truth is we’re just really glad that everyone is here and that everyone is comfortable enough to let the others be, well, comfortable. The truth is that you can’t Overdress and for the most part you can’t Under dress.

Praise & Worship:
We Praise Loud and we Worship Hard! We understand that our Praise and Worship style isn’t for everyone but it is the sound of this house. The Praise team is made up of quality Christian Musicians who love to give their best. If you like to Praise and Worship then this is going to be a real treat for you! There will be singing, clapping, crying, shouting, dancing and from time to time someone may even do a victory lap around the sanctuary!

Tithe & Offerings:
We believe in Giving.! We believe in Sowing and Reaping!! We believe in Seed, Time and Harvest!!!

Message:
This is where you really have to just come and see for yourself. The messages are always upbeat and hopeful! There is a real Joy in the messages with a lot of laughter and fun. The Word is given in a very real and powerful way that is easily grasped and applied by everyone in the congregation. Messages may center around any ordinary life event and usually do! They will broaden your understanding and often challenge your traditional way of seeing things. However, the messages are founded on solid biblical principles and are always encouraging the hearer to go deeper and expect greater.
